Endurance Exploration: Plans for the Future
As the Endurance Expedition nears its end, thoughts have turned to the future of the Elite Dangerous galaxy and what Endurance Exploration can do in it.
It’s no exaggeration to say that CMDRs Hatch, Dim3bar, FiL and Campbell (sounds like a law firm 😀) have thoroughly enjoyed the journey to Colonia, Sagittarius A* and Beagle Point. We’ve had fun and made new friends along the way. The Expedition has a few weeks left to run but we’re now on the home straight. We are heading back into Colonia and then back to the bubble… or what’s left of it. Time for some changes.
For quite some time we’ve been playing with the idea of Endurance Expedition becoming something more than an event so this weekend Endurance Expedition made the first moves to become Endurance Exploration, a CMDR org/company in the ED galaxy. We already have the ENEX (PC) and EEXP (XBOX) squadrons and we have ideas formulating about future activities and even becoming a player minor faction too. We will also be doing more expeditions and excursions (combat, trading, exploration, Guardian and Thargoid sites etc) in future as well.
Exploration will always be at the core of what we do but the galaxy offers lucrative opportunities for combat and trade as well. We plan to be there to help each other, new CMDRs or seasoned veterans looking for like-minded friends. Whether it’s getting a better ship, learning to fight on the ground or getting access to the Guardian modules we can help. We want Endurance Exploration to give CMDRs the opportunity to make their own choices but have the benefits of an org providing help if it’s needed. With Salvation’s weapon about to be fired and the future state of the galaxy unsure, we will all need friends in a dangerous galaxy.
Joining in is easy and we welcome CMDRs new and old.
